Introducing the March 2016 Linkup

If you have written a blog post related to Music Education, here is a place you can share it!  It doesn't matter if you are a music teacher or musician, we are simply looking for articles to help each other in our efforts to teach music to children.  Share your article and see what others have written!

A "Linky" is a place where bloggers can share what they have written on another blogger's website.  While we will be doing more to promote our Linkys in the future, we wanted to test the waters out and post our first link-up now.

Many online hosts require that you link back to them by sharing the Linky button on your page in order to post, but I don't want to go that route.  If you already have a place for Link-up buttons and wish to share the square image on your website, that's awesome, go for it, and social media shares and comments are always welcome, but not required.

In the future we will be encouraging only sharing newer posts, but for our first linkup, anything related to teaching children music goes!

The rules are simple:  1.  Article must be family friendly.  2.  Article must be related to music education.  3.  No more than 5 entries per person.

The above code will show the button on your blog.

About the author

Tamsyn

My name is Tamsyn and I love music. I got my bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from USU. I spent many years teaching private piano lessons until I had children of my own. I have attended several children workshops on how to teach children music. I really like the Kodaly method, but have adapted a lot of different techniques for my own children.
